You have to start somewhere

August 29, 07 by Don Wilson

I’m slowly realising that when we open a new website, the standard has to be that of a competitor’s website, one which has been on the market far longer. Quality has to be top notch in order to quickly beat them.

However much I talk about quality being the most important key to a website’s sustainability in the future, quality isn’t nearly as important if you waste all of your startup time worrying over it. You have to find a happy closing place and bookmark the quality for a while until you’ve made yourself public, and then work on quality, as well as development and innovation.

In web design as in life, you have to start somewhere. That’s good advice.
